I got an offer of renewal for my insurance policy today...

My renewal is $1,190.60. I think. It's very confusing, and I pray to God that the premium is incorrect. I'm looking at the farmers insurance website right now to see what means what on my policy. I need to know if this thousand-some-odd dollars means that I will have to pay this in order to renew my policy, if it does, then I may be looking at a new insurance company... This is how it's going to be, I change insurance companies every six months, at a steady $150 a month.

In other news, Yacob has decided to move in with me and Phil. We found a 4 bedroom, 2 bath duplex for $900 a month. We'll have to pay utilities ourselves, so that may eat us out the ass in the long run. I need to call the owner tomorra for more info. If it doesn't work out, I'm gonna need help from Phil and Yacob to find another place. So far I'm the only one who's put any effort into this search.

I'm scheduling the compass test tomorra. I need to study. Hopefully Jessica's mom will help me figure out how the fuck to fill out my financial aid paperwork.

Phil and Jessica and I spent an two hours at Great Prospects. Found an antique dining room set for $90. I'm putting that shit on layaway. Plus the $125 banjo/clock, but that may have to wait. We still need to save money for rent. That place is fucking rad.

I didn't get a lot of stuff this year, but I did get the one thing I've wanted for the past three years. I didn't get much, but I don't care, because I got the few things I wanted and a couple of pleasant surprises (the complete Batman the Animated Series collection on DVD, thank you Yacob). I got a few gift cards, which I find is the most thoughtful gift seeing as how they never disappoint me.

As for school, I put off registration for winter quarter for too long. I never got financial aid and I yet again must wait another quarter. I do this to myself, and I don't think people really take me seriously when I say that I plan on going to college.

Laurie, one of the owners at work asked me if I was still taking classes for the casino, to which I explained my teacher Danielle started another job, and I was trying to get registered for school, and I just kind of put it on the back-burner for the time being. She seemed kind of disappointed and told me that if I wanted to start classes again that I could come to her and she'd find another dealer to teach me. It was really surprising to find that she was so encouraging about getting me a new position. Seeing how I can't get into school until spring quarter, I think this may be the window of opportunity I've been passing up again and again. I'll talk to her asap about available dealers.

I'm excited for New Years and Lisa and Perry's housewarming/New Years Shindig. I am, however nervous about driving Jessica back home to Gorst after the drunks hit the road. I had a disturbing dream last night that involved a drunk driver and a fatality. I'm not one to place meaning into my dreams but this one left me a little uneasy. I do so love her.

I want to move out by my birthday, which I think is looking more and more promising. Four months is plenty of time to save for an apartment, especially if I can get into the casino before then. We'll see.

After explaining what happened in the accident, the people at Midas told me there was a likelihood that the freame was bent and that an alignment inspection would be pointless if that was the case. In short, they said that they couldn't help me.

I may have to accept the fact that I must start from scratch on the whole car issue.

My frind Tim at the alley told me it was unlikely that I could get in to an apprenticeship at anywhere other than the shipyard, which I will not be doing. He directed me to the Union Hall in Bremerton where I can get my name on "the list" and likely get paid for going to school, but it's all work related.

Taking the written test for driver's liscense tommorrow. Wish me luck.

My car insurance is 160 dollars a month.

If I make it into an electrician's apprenticeship, I may have to move to Seattle...
